Oh Baby Baby!

April seems to be a great month to celebrate babies. Maybe it’s thoughts of spring, or perhaps it’s because so many of my nieces and nephews have April birthdays, but I thought it would be a great time to crochet up some baby items.Your challenge this week is to crochet a baby item and show us what you made.
Last Month My dad was in the hospital for about a week. I had my crochet and knitting bag with me and one of the day nurses showed me this super easy ribbed infant hat pattern.  She is in a group that makes them for the babies born in the hospital.
I whipped up half a dozen and showed them to our group and now we are making them to donate too. : )
We also have 5 new babies in our work department and they all have new HATS!!

New Crochet Challenge

A few weeks ago I joined the weekly crochet challenge from Red Berry Crochet. She was the sponsor of the previous challenge titled "52 Week Crochet Challenge" and this year she is doing a weekly post with a new challenge each week.  So far I have met the three weeks but will post the photos of that today.
Hope you Like them. : )

3/18/2015 Egg-cellent. Crochet an Easter Egg. I have made many of these but only added one this year.

3/25/2015 Let's have a Ball. Different Yarn Weights
This is going to be a small Bolero for daughter #3, pictured below when it is complete. This is a 3.5 oz skein of I Love this Cotton in a very lovely creamy yellow. The name of the color is BANANA.  Can't type that without the bananananana song going off in my head from the minion movie. : )

4/1/2015  Be A Fool! Happy April Fools' Day. Just kidding. But my friend did tell me that this hat and purse are a great way to get into the Red Hat Society. We looked it up and found out I do qualify for age. (50)!
